Print in place, Parameterizable, 15-puzzle
thingiverse
Human: An independent creation inspired by Angus Deveson's Maker's Muse: Huge 3D Printed Sliding Puzzle! Print in Place "15-Puzzle" openSCAD model. OpenSCAD files are simple text files that allow users to edit the number of pieces, gap size, and individual piece dimensions. The file includes a 'slicer' object for adding a topo-map or any other artwork and subtracting it from the slicer so the art rests on top of the puzzle pieces but not in the gaps. For inspiration, check out lithopane makers for unique artwork ideas. A blank puzzle can be quite dull, so users will want to add their preferred artwork before printing. An example .stl file is included, rendered with a 0.6mm gap, based on the aus.png grayscale image.
