Print-in-place Lenovo Yoga fold-out riser
thingiverse
I wanted to find a riser that could be folded and still allow my laptop to convert into a tablet. Ideally, it should be stable and not easily fold back flat. A wider base would also be beneficial, rather than just two points of contact. Additionally, the riser shouldn't block any ports or require long-term modifications. The hinge on my Lenovo Yoga C940 is held in place with double-sided tape. To reduce the angle on mine, I applied a small amount of hot glue inside the hinge's contact point, causing the laptop to sit slightly higher. The original pictures show the angle before modification. This riser was designed using OnShape: https://cad.onshape.com/documents/457e23c1f7a65db08ec214c6/w/f956602bab5955f9316b5ba4/e/a28eab812808b42625ffb95f. It was printed in PETG, with no support required.
