Print-in-place joystick gimbal
thingiverse
I designed this part because I wanted a joystick gimbal. I'm planning to use it as an actuator for a basic 2-axis control system and hope it works decently well. The design should also allow you to use sensors instead of actuators, making it usable as a basic joystick. It prints in place without any issues and comes out free from wiggling. I left a 0.3mm clearance between the parts for smooth printing. The mounting holes are designed for 5mm bolts, and the adapters are custom-made to fit perfectly. They were a bit tricky to come up with, but it was worth the effort. Print Settings: Printer Brand: Prusa Printer Model: Prusa Steel Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.4mm Infill: 50% Notes: I printed this part with a 3mm brim, which came off easily after some fiddling around. Post-Printing: It was printed in Verbatim blue.
