Print-in-place hinged dice case
prusaprinters
This case is one of several I've been working on. Fits a standard sized set of D&D dice plus room for one extra. Entirely print in place with no supports, I do recommend printing with at least 3 perimeters for strength in the hinge. The case is kept closed with a pair of 8x3mm magnets which should be glued in place (the magnet pockets are pretty snug but will loosen over time).UPDATE: Added a revised version which swaps out one of the magnets for a 1-1/2lb steel tinner rivet (Hillman #1415). I found that two magnets are too strong to make opening the case easy. The rivet/magnet combo has plenty of pull to keep the case closed but opening is now much easier. The rivet is press fit, though you may need to gently tap it in with a hammer to get it flush.
