Print-in-place Hinge Library
thingiverse
This library generates three types of print-in-place hinges, all requiring no support materials. One type has a horizontal axis while the other two have vertical axes. The models are parameterized for size and clearance adjustments. Test for adequate gap between hinge fingers during initial layers to ensure proper clearance; if overlapping, increase hinge spacing. Inspired by http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5922, this horizontal hinge offers control over arm distribution. The vertical hinges are original designs. An updated version from 11/8/13 includes separate STL files for each hinge type. Utilize the OpenSCAD file in your own projects.
