I modified ThatEngineeringGuy's "Reversible, print-in-place hinge for 6mm printer enclosure doors" to suit a 2.4mm thick sheet of plexiglass. When I scaled down the design in Cura and printed it, however, I discovered that there wasn't sufficient clearance around the pin to enable smooth operation. After meticulously attempting to dislodge the hinge, it ultimately broke into two pieces. I then reduced the size of the hinge by half and decreased the diameter of the pin by 1.6mm to provide more clearance. As ThatEngineeringGuy advises, take your time when loosening the hinge. Once successfully dislodged, the hinge moved smoothly with no up-and-down play. I appreciate ThatEngineeringGuy's design; it was a great find!
