Print in Place Fidget plus Tutorial
thingiverse
I love crafting parts that assemble themselves in place. It's truly captivating and when I manage to get my students to build one, it's an absolute thrill ride. Even better, this lesson is designed to help them create a basic version that they can then enhance to be nothing short of incredible. The fundamental model has been uploaded, but take the 15 minutes to design your own in TinkerCAD and then fine-tune it until it reaches its full potential. By the way... I've successfully printed the Z axis at half height after scaling it down. I'll also post videos of the awesome modifications students have already made to it.
