I am thrilled to submit my entry for the "Makerbot Thingiverse Firstbuild Countertop Challenge." It all started with the countless times I accidentally added dirty dishes to a sparkling clean dishwasher, wasting precious time checking glasses under the light to determine if they had been washed. Those days are now behind me! This ingenious solution takes out all the guesswork and saves me a fortune (think no more running loads in vain due to coffee mishaps on spotless plates). With just one easy movement of the bar from "Clean Me" to "I'm Clean," my sanity returns. A seamless print that eliminates any need for assembly, the status bar merely requires the snapping off of carefully designed supports. Place it above your dishwasher (for added convenience, I recommend a 3M Command Strip, as I do in my apartment building - other options like double-sided tape work great too) and bid farewell to those pesky doubts about your dishes' cleanliness. As for the file formats, rest assured there's something for everyone: I've included files for single-extruder and dual-extruder prints (you can also give your print a colorful makeover using paint or markers). For those preferring a minimalist design, the plain Clean/Dirty option is available as well.
