Print-in-place Cube Snake Puzzle
thingiverse
This wooden snake-cube puzzle is based on those classic wooden cube puzzles you often see. It features the same double hinge design used in my fidget/infinity cube model. The print setting allows for an in-place assembly that can be easily converted back into a standard 3x3 cube. I'm not a professional puzzle designer, so this may seem like child's play to experienced puzzle enthusiasts. However, I found designing and solving it to be a fun challenge. If you want to test your printer's capabilities before committing to this model, try printing my 'Cube Fidgeter' design - it shares the same hinge and tolerance requirements but requires significantly less print time. I printed both this puzzle and my fidget cubes at 90% infill density to minimize stringing, then scaled up by a few percent for better results.
