Print-in M8 Fidget Spinner

Print-in M8 Fidget Spinner

This fidget is precision-made for a 608zz bearing and six M8 hex nuts. The hex nuts are embedded within the print, so to install them, your printer must pause just before covering the nuts with its next layer. To achieve this, I recommend printing at a 0.2mm layer height and pausing at 8.4mm, where the nut filling begins. You can use Simplify 3D's dual-process feature or modify your slicer's G-code to add a pause at that specific layer. Ensure you push the nuts down securely so they fit snugly and don't interfere with the nozzle as the next layer starts. The caps I've used are actually designed by iDevelo3D, known for their comfy designs. You can find them on Thingiverse: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2181061.
