Print finished signal
thingiverse
This thing was made using Tinkercad's online editor at https://www.tinkercad.com/things/l8MJqQLxOWv. The deck holds a 9V battery holder, includes space for a small toggle switch and a lever microswitch, as well as a hole for a buzzer. All the components are wired in series to create a circuit that sounds the buzzer when the toggle switch is turned on and the microswitch feels the Y axis carriage return to its parked position. This design was inspired by an Original Prusa printer but may be adaptable to other printers or simply copied with ease. The project was straightforward to complete using Tinkercad's software. Currently, my deck is attached to the z axis carriage with Velcro, however I am not convinced that this is the best method of securing it.
