After a fan failure the original plastic got warped and deformed. So i designed my own with a more direct cooling on the nozzle area. Getting it in place takes some force but not to much so do it on your own risk. The ears are supposed to flex a bit to get on the plastic part. So make sure they do before trying to get it on the printer. When its on place make sure you slide it down as much as you can so there is clearense for the fan when you put it all back together. Thats why the holes are slightly larger on the part its supposed to be loose for you to be able to slide it down. Make sure its at least 2 mm higher then nozzle on your machine or remove it and dont use. I cant be sure they have changed something on later models. I printed with pla and have not noticed any problems after 50 hours of printing. But i cant give garanties when all pla differs from manufacturers. I used flashforge grey pla 600 g spols.
