This began as a tool to mark my print bed, but what followed was a series of troubleshooting efforts. There's an issue with Slic3r that causes it to disregard the print bed perimeter settings. If you set the bed size to 160mm in both X and Y dimensions, the Me Creator2 will experience carriage slams and skips whenever printing near the limit of 160mm on the X axis. However, if you adjust the setting to 161mm in both X and Y dimensions, the problem is resolved, and Slic3r will no longer slam the X axis. Despite the reason being unclear, this workaround appears to be effective.
