This Is a Free 3d Printer Designed to Show off the Build Volume of the Ultimate Cubed Printer. Originally Conceived to Push the Limits, Printing a Printer with Its Own Built-In Printer in One Shot without any Glue was Always the Plan. After Deciding to Open it Up for Free Non-Commercial Use, I'll be Sharing and Developing it for Anyone's Benefit. The Next Step is Fine-Tuning Some Parts, Including the Bed, before I Can Even Think About Printing. Get Ready, though, Because That Printer Will Soon Be Humming along as it Prints Away in my Shop. Build Area is About 6". This Printer's Ultimate Goal, however, is to be the Foundation for a Family of Different Sizes, and we're just getting started here. We'll be Seeing those Larger and Smaller Models roll off the Production Line in No Time at All. The Best Part? This One will Still Remain a Totally Free Open-Source Project, Ready for anyone with a 3D Printer to Grab the Blueprints and Get Printing. It's currently Configured to Use the same tried-and-true Y-Axis Bearing Mounts found in a Mindel 90 printer, making this one Simple as can be. A Wade Extruder and jHead combo works like a Charm, and so do bowden adapters with their own jHead for that matter. On the X Axis, cleverly designed zip tie channels securely hold those linear rods and bearings in Place. Now we're ready to add to the Instructions As I Make my Way Through More Development on this printer. Just you wait - soon We'll be able to say it's finally perfect and then It Will Start being a Fully Functional Machine. Get ready for some of the Best Printing around!
