This cleaner accepts any sponge, regardless of its source. For personal preference, a sponge removed from a dish scrub brush's core serves well. Detach the ball of the brush and split it into as many as six clean filament sponges per foot (reference the included picture for best results). Fold each rectangular sponge and place it securely inside the cleaner.
