This innovative design was entered in the MakeShaper Design Challenge. Let me ask you a question: What is the most frustrating design flaw about the Pringle chip can? If you're like many people, you'll probably say that the cap of the Pringle can doesn't fit onto the bottom of the can. This is a huge inconvenience when you're trying to walk around and enjoy these delicious chips at the same time! We always end up holding the lid in our hands and most of the time we drop it and get it dirty, which is just gross! This design offers a simple solution to this annoying problem. It's designed for flexible filaments and will keep your lid securely attached to the bottom of your can, eliminating the hassle of having to hold the lid separately. You simply attach the adapter piece to the bottom of the can and then attach the lid to the bottom of the adapter piece. This design is best printed using very flexible filament due to the specially designed button on the side. By pressing this button when the lid is attached, air pressure increases under the cap, releasing it from the bottom of the can. This allows the cap to stay in place when you want it to and release with just the press of a button!
