PrinCube alignment aid v4
thingiverse
UPDATE: v5 is now sturdier, has 0.3mm clearance, features 6 v-slots and can be handled more easily. Alignment aid for the PrinCube handheld printer. The flimsy carboard included in the box for multi-line printing didn't work for me, so I designed and printed this alignment help. Part 1 has a 0.5mm platform for a feature of the PrinCube base to slide on. Part 2 has slots to align 6 consecutive lines (spaced vertically 15mm). To better hold the whole shebang in place you can just put a book on top of it (not on the vertical walls of course) and press down. Please note that the 0.5mm area is still flimsy, so you can still pull the cube out of alignment. So it is better to push it "down" towards you a little bit while sliding. Also first slide the cube to the left while print mode is activated, then after hitting the end position, print to the right.
