I stumbled upon "lithophanes" for the first time when browsing through Thingiverse. Having since encountered them, and having printed several myself, I'm thoroughly impressed! This is my contribution to this incredible art form - a (in)famous scene from Princess Leia's encounter with Jabba the Hutt in his throne room. I couldn't decide which pose looked better, so I went ahead and created both. Ever since discovering 3d printing, I've been searching high and low for a high-quality model of this scene. If anyone has access to such a model or knows where I can find one, please let me know! -=[ UPDATE ]=- So, ummmmm.... yeah... It seems I accidentally created these with the image settings set to "negative." I've uploaded the corrected version (as _v2). Anyone care to explain why there would be a "negative" setting on a lithophane creator?!
