Princess Crown
thingiverse
This crown, of course, was printed not with gold, but painted from a container. My wife asked me to print a crown for her new doll. She wanted something special, so I decided to get creative. Here's how it turned out: We used ABS material, which is perfect for printing detailed models like this one. The nozzle diameter was set to 0.4 mm, and the extrusion width matched that, ensuring a precise print. With a layer height of 0.2 mm, we were able to achieve a high level of detail. The extruder temperature was set to 235 degrees Celsius, which is ideal for ABS. The heated bed temperature was kept at a comfortable 80 degrees Celsius, allowing the material to cool and harden properly. We opted for a 100% infill, ensuring that the crown would be strong and sturdy. Supports were enabled, as we knew the model had some complex features that would require extra stability during printing. The print speed was set to 100 mm per second, which is relatively fast but still allowed us to achieve good quality. Finally, we printed three bottom layers, five top layers, and three perimeter layers, using the Inside-Out setting. The result was a beautiful crown that my wife loved. It was a fun project, and I'm glad I could help her create something special for her new doll.
