Princess Castle (a huge job)
pinshape
A massive 675mm x 514mm x 342mm fortress stands tall, crafted from an astonishing 2600 grams of vibrant pink and fuchsia PLA filament. The meticulous process required over 110 hours of non-stop printing time. The castle's design was meticulously created in SketchUp using a variety of sources, then carefully cut into nine distinct pieces to accommodate the printer's maximum size constraints. To bring this enormous structure to life, the following settings were employed: layer height at 0.3mm, PLA filament, and a nozzle diameter of 0.4mm, with an infill percentage of 20%. The printing process alone required over 100 hours of continuous operation on the P3Steel printer.
