The keyholes in the back may be redundant, but they can still catch onto each end. I attached one to the edge of my workbench and it worked great (picture). The edge has a 6mm radius, which makes it easier to secure. If you need a strip with no curve, use powerStrip1R & 2R instead. This should fit other brands too, since the openings are standard at 32mm X 44.5mm.
