Upon punching the handle, a rotating disk with 180-degree spaced holes moves forward, dispensing contents from the hopper through one hole into a chute while loading the next into another hole. This cycle repeats for three consecutive strikes. The drawing illustrates the mechanism's stroke and movement requirements. Its functionality is modeled after the ratchet strap, converting linear motion to radial motion.
