Prima Creator P120 rubber feet with cones
thingiverse
I wanted functional legs for my printer that would provide better performance than the standard ones. Those stock legs are often flimsy and poorly made, making them difficult to work with. As I had TPU material readily available at home, I created a design for small feet in SketchUp. The screw goes inside and once tightened, you need to insert the tips to cover the screws. This setup minimizes contact surface area, resulting in less noise and vibrations. My P120 is slightly dampened by inserted stepper shims, but it still isn't as quiet as my A5. The stock configuration of the P120 is notably loud, bordering on deafening. I hoped this modification would bring some improvement. I printed four pieces of each design to attach them to the corners of the bottom plate.
