Price Pfister 960-041A 3⅜" 19 Series Bath Tub Cleanout

This recreation of the Price Pfister 960-041A 19 series bath tub cleanout plate dates back 35 years of wear and tear. My original part had rotted out completely. I was unable to find a suitable replacement anywhere. Online retailers and plumbing supply houses listed the part for sale, but every single one I received was incompatible with my needs. I had to rely on educated guesses when measuring certain dimensions due to the warped state of my plate. It was cracked in several places and suffered from heavy corrosion, making it difficult to work with. The cleanout diameter is approximately 3⅜" and the depth is just over ¾". The existing spring and plunger can be reused, but some effort may be required to secure them in place within the retainers. I chose not to design a replacement plunger due to concerns about stress concentrations on plastic materials. A partial design for the plunger exists within the 3ds max file for those interested in attempting to create their own.
