I installed these mounts to secure Home Depot yardsticks under our couches, out of reach for our little tennis ball-obsessed dog that's prone to rolling them underneath. These brackets keep the yardsticks about 3 inches back from the couch, making them nearly invisible and resistant to getting kicked or destroyed. I've placed two yardsticks in front of our couches and one on each exposed side of both sofas, providing a safe and secure solution for our furry friend.
