I replaced old v-slot rollers from my CR-10 with a ball bearing, which surprisingly works perfectly. It doesn't matter if the bearings are smooth or not, as long as they press alubutyl effectively to make visible parts that have already been rolled. I used 25mm and 35mm Roller versions, both with and without embossing.
