Simple valve extender for Presta valves adds 25mm to existing length providing sufficient clearance for pump attachment. Using this extender under deep-section rims is not recommended due to potential leakage issues. It serves its purpose well in emergency situations where rapid inflation is necessary, but there isn't enough valve exposure for a secure connection with the pump head. Prototypes have demonstrated successful inflation, albeit with slight leakage concerns. Extreme caution should be exercised when relying on this extender under deep-section rims. For optimal performance, it's designed to work best with 0.4mm print heads and recommends using a 0.100mm (100 micron) print height for precise thread results. Cautionary Update: Using this extender in deep-section rims is highly discouraged as demonstrated by a recent test where the extender broke off while attached to a floor pump, rendering it useless once detached from the valve stem.
