Presta to Schrader Valve Adapter

Presta to Schrader Valve Adapter

Needed a presta to schrader valve adapter to fix my mtb flat tire, so I took matters into my own hands and designed one myself. Fortunately, 3D printing came to the rescue and produced a functional adapter in no time. While it works perfectly as an emergency solution, it's not exactly ideal for everyday use. One major hurdle in creating such small components is getting the threads and overall fit just right - a challenge that even my trusty Ultimaker 3 struggled with. Designing the model was a bit of a brain teaser due to Presta valves' non-standard metric thread. To overcome this obstacle, I turned to Fusion 360 and created a tutorial on how to craft your own unique threads from scratch. If you're interested in learning more about this process, be sure to check out my blog post for the lowdown.
