pressure washer sprayer holder
thingiverse
I was fed up with trying to maneuver the pressure washer around with the sprayer flailing wildly. It would constantly scrape against the ground, get tangled in the wheel, and generally create a nuisance. I had no idea what kind of genius designed this contraption. To resolve the issue, I crafted a holder that securely clamps onto the power washer's frame, providing a stable resting place for the sprayer tip to avoid any collisions. It's a snug friction fit that simply clicks on, but to add extra reassurance, I also used two zip ties. This setup allows me to effortlessly wheel the machine around. Update: Unfortunately, this makeshift solution proved insufficient in preventing movement. The holder kept shifting out of place, sliding down, and failing to function effectively. Given the engine's tendency to vibrate when running, it wasn't entirely unexpected. To rectify this problem, I incorporated a small recess into the previous design that allows it to rest on a peg. Next, I drilled and tapped an M4 hole into the metal tube of the pressure washer and screwed in a peg. A dash of locktite would have been wise as well. With the holder now resting securely on this screw peg, it remains firmly in place and won't slide down or rotate out of position.
