Pressure switch
thingiverse
This project is an ongoing design that will be enhanced with additional details in due course. It's a component designed specifically for attaching a pressure switch to a Prusa i3, replacing the need for a P.I.N.D.A probe. Printing with industrial filament at 100°C air temperature causes the P.I.N.D.A probe to deteriorate rapidly. Instead of relying on a P.I.N.D.A probe, I utilize a pressure switch that operates in normal open mode, which closes the power when activated. Following this, I identified the necessary cables for the signal and soldered them to the switch. After manufacturing this holder, you will require 2 frame screws. Additionally, you'll need to drill holes for your specific switch type, ensuring it's perfectly level with the top edge of the roller.
