This sensor's functioning is simple, as it utilizes a microcontroller for operation. The sleek design conceals all components, ensuring an attractive appearance. I programmed the device using Arduino, selecting a force-sensing component to calculate pressure based on force and area. The Force Resistive Sensor (FRS) is lightweight and thin, making it suitable for our needs. Additionally, learn more about FRS at https://www.adafruit.com/product/166. With Arduino, we obtain a digital output, which led to selecting this platform. We can also miniaturize the program onto a small chip, create a PCB, and assemble it into the lightweight body (around 5g) made from moulding or 3D printing for weight reduction. The design incorporates over-voltage protection and is easy to manufacture.
