I picked up my airsoft gun and instinctively wrapped my hand around it, placing my thumb on the left rail of the hand guard. The thought immediately occurred to me that I needed a platform to keep my thumb firmly in place, providing additional support for my rifle while allowing me to run an angled foregrip with ease. I designed this custom thumb rest / pressure plate mount specifically for this purpose. Now, when I grip my rifle tightly, the thumb rest helps me maintain a firm hold even during rapid movements. Plus, it keeps my thumb perfectly aligned with the pressure plate of my flashlight, allowing me to quickly switch between shooting modes as needed. The design feels incredibly ergonomic in my hands, but feel free to suggest any improvements you think would be beneficial.
