A pressure plate, also referred to as a load cell or force sensor, is a device used to measure the weight or force exerted on it. It consists of a flat platform that deforms when pressure is applied, triggering an electrical signal proportional to the amount of force being applied. This signal can then be utilized to control various systems or mechanisms in response to the detected pressure.
