Pressure gauge for beer bottles
thingiverse
Remixed a pressure gauge fitting for beer bottles featuring an integrated stopper. The modified fitting now accommodates a 12.5 mm thread, boasting my homebrew logo and decorative elements on top. To utilize this device, first secure the pressure gauge in place, then insert a small rubber ring all the way into the bore hole. Apply Teflon tape to the threaded area before reattaching the gauge. Next, retrieve a rubber ring from your original bottle or a similar one and seal it to the fitting using glue or silicone. Please note that this model should not be resized as it is specifically designed for its intended thread size. This custom-made item allows users to monitor pressure build-up in their bottles during secondary fermentation processes. Unfortunately, I am unable to recall the source of my inspiration for this design.
