A compact utility knife holder perfect for daily carry. Simply press down on the center of the blade to extend it easily, all from one hand. This design is significantly easier to open than standard models. A more robust feel is achieved with a different design found at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3713857. The STEP file has been uploaded for anyone wishing to make modifications. Designed specifically to fit Dewalt Carbide Blades snugly, as seen here: https://amzn.to/2Xa0Y35. It also fits the classic Stanley 1992 blade, available at: https://amzn.to/2X5oWfT. A right-hand version has been uploaded; mirror it in your slicer for a left-hand design. This holder is intended for light-duty cutting tasks only. Use it to open cardboard boxes, cut mail packaging, slice plastic wrap, and other similar applications. Exercise common sense when using this holder and avoid applying too much pressure while cutting.
