This mold is designed for creating high-quality USB type B plug connectors. To achieve this level of quality, I use hot glue guns to manufacture these connectors. The combination of a 0.5 mm nozzle diameter and a layer thickness of 0.1 mm yields exceptional results. If you opt for a 0.05 mm layer thickness, you may even experience better quality. This is because the reduced layer thickness allows for greater precision and control over the glue application process. Before pouring hot glue into the mold, I lubricate it with motor oil or Vaseline to ensure smooth removal of the connector after it has cooled. After pouring the glue, I wait 30 minutes before opening the mold. To use these molds effectively: 1. Print out the molds with a layer thickness ranging from 0.05 mm to 0.1 mm and a nozzle diameter of 0.5-0.4 mm (or use a CNC drill with a metal cutter). 2. Solder the connector to wires according to your gadget's power scheme. 3. Lubricate the mold with petroleum jelly or clean engine oil. 4. Insert the soldered connector into one part of the mold and cover it with the second part. 5. Secure the mold with a rubber band for banknotes or tie it with thread so that it doesn't open. 6. Preheat your glue gun. 7. Extrude hot glue into the molds using the glue gun. 8. Allow the glue to cool for 20-30 minutes. 9. Disassemble the mold and remove the connector, wiping off Vaseline or oil with dishwashing detergent. 10. Your high-quality USB type B plug connector is now ready for use. You can even fill these molds with liquid rubber and a hardener for added durability. If you enjoy my tutorials, please subscribe to my channel!
