I'm crafting a mold for molding notebook power connectors and similar connector parameters with precision. My go-to adhesive is hot glue, applied using a reliable pistol, which yields top-notch results. With a nozzle diameter of 0.5 mm and a layer thickness of 0.1 mm, I achieve exceptional quality. However, I've experimented with thinner layers - as low as 0.05 mm - and found that they can produce even better results. To ensure a smooth pour, I recommend lubricating the mold with motor oil or Vaseline beforehand. Once you've poured in the hot glue, wait patiently for 30 minutes before carefully opening the mold.
