This mold is specifically designed for molding microUSB type B connectors. Using hot glue guns and applying hot glue with precision is crucial for achieving optimal results. To ensure the best quality, it's recommended to use a nozzle diameter of 0.5 mm and a layer thickness of 0.1 mm. Some users have reported even better results by adjusting the layer thickness to as low as 0.05 mm. Experimenting with different settings may help you achieve an even higher level of quality. Before pouring hot glue into the mold, it's essential to lubricate the form with either motor oil or Vaseline. This step helps ensure a smooth release and prevents the hot glue from sticking to the mold. After pouring the hot glue, wait for 30 minutes before carefully opening the mold.
