I'm using hot glue guns to create high-quality Lenovo power (square) plug connectors. To achieve this, I've found that layer thickness and nozzle diameter play a crucial role. With a 0.1 mm layer thickness and a 0.5 mm nozzle diameter, the results are exceptional. Some users even claim better quality with a 0.05 mm layer thickness. Before pouring hot glue into the mold, it's essential to lubricate it with motor oil or Vaseline. This helps prevent sticking and makes removal much easier. After filling the mold, allow 30 minutes for the glue to set before opening it up. To use these molds effectively: 1 - First, print out the connector using a hot glue gun, ensuring layer thickness is between 0.05 mm and 0.1 mm, with a nozzle diameter of 0.5-0.4 mm. 2 - Solder the connector according to your gadget's power scheme. 3 - Apply a thin layer of petroleum jelly or clean engine oil to the mold. 4 - Insert one part of the mold into the soldered connector, then cover it with the second part. 5 - Secure the mold with a rubber band or thread so it doesn't open during the process. 6 - Preheat your glue gun for optimal performance. 7 - Extrude hot glue into the molds using the gun. 8 - Allow 20-30 minutes for the glue to cool and harden. 9 - Disassemble the form, remove the connector, and clean any residue with dishwashing detergent. 10 - Your high-quality Lenovo power plug is now ready for use. You can even fill these molds with liquid rubber combined with a hardener for added durability. If you find my tutorials helpful, please subscribe to my channel for more content!
