Press fit truncated octahedral honeycomb
thingiverse
This is a basic snap fit model of a truncated octahedral or "bitruncated cubic" honeycomb pattern. It's made up of interconnected hexagonal faces, shared between two truncated octahedral cells, and edge connectors linking two adjacent hexagonal faces together. Since the square faces are left out, each edge only joins two faces - making it a sort of two-dimensional surface connecting an endless expanse of hexagons embedded in three-dimensional space.\r\n\r\nThe design can be modified using the accompanying OpenSCAD file.
