Press Fit Pulley Extractor / Remover

Press Fit Pulley Extractor / Remover

This is a simple fix for those who purchased a newer Ender 3 printer featuring press-fit pulleys and want to remove or replace them to install stepper motor dampers or make other modifications. You will also need: - One long M5 screw. I used an extra M5 45 that came with the Ender 3. - One M5 nut. Mine was obtained from a local hardware store for 45 cents. - Pulley heads with set screws. A 5-pack was purchased off Amazon for $7. - One allen wrench (hex key) that fits the M5 screw. The biggest one came with my Ender 3. **Disclaimer:** This solution is not mine and I claim no credit whatsoever. However, the original creator only has content available in French. Please click on their blog to check it out as they have other neat creations.
