A model of a brake press for trying out different bend sequences using paper or carboard. The tooling is based on a machine i use at work which has 35° bottom and top tooling. I modelled this so it is fully moveable and added some springs at the bottom. The tooling also allows the crushing action to create dutch folds. The side rails i cut out of 5mm aluminium and then glued them to the base although these could also be 3d printed. Included in the files are the dxf profiles so you can cut out of various materials on cnc machines and maybe even create a full metal version.
