Terracotta policroma Sec. XV (fine) - Sec. XVI (inizi) The sculptural group is composed of the kneeling Madonna, wrapped in a heavy panneggiato garment with deep folds, Saint Joseph also kneeling and the Baby placed on the ground between them, once lying inside a disappeared manger. The terracottas are characterized by a soda volume and solid plasticity, softened however by the sweet pictorial modulations visible especially in the face of the Madonna.
