I've seen various design fan nozzles here, but none of them were an acceptable solution due to reasons or disadvantages. The main reason is that I own a Chinese knock-off Prusa i3 printer found on eBay for 200 Euros as a DIY set. I know it's not ideal, but despite its flaws and disadvantages, it works well and better than expected. For the price paid, I have no complaints. Let's look at why I rejected other designs: they had too low airflow, were too complicated, required additional screws or fittings, weren't easy to remove, or didn't fit my printer for some reason. My list of requirements was simple: 1. The nozzle must fit a standard laptop CPU fan removed from a broken laptop (widely used). 2. No screws or special fittings are needed. 3. Easy removal is a must. 4. Good airflow is essential. To install the nozzle holder, I only need to unscrew the head stepper motor and eject the filament once. Then, it's easy to install or remove the fan cooling nozzle anytime. The laptop fan usually requires 5V power, so you'll likely need to add a step-down element from a 12V source. A perfect solution is a small 12V USB Car Power Cigarette Lighter Socket Charger Adapter. Alternatively, you can build your own using an LM7805 chip. Videos demonstrating how easy it is to remove or install the fan are available here: * Removing the fan and nozzle: www.youtube.com/watch?v=8qni2He4h7U * Installing the holder and whole thing: www.youtube.com/watch?v=XI4tX02PuqI (Sorry for the focusing issue in the video; it was recorded with my new mobile phone, and I haven't figured out how to fix this yet.) Enjoy!
