prenta B1.25 x carriage for chimera v2.0 print ready
thingiverse
Here is my design to upgrade the carriage for installing a Chimera hotend (or Chinese copy) into my Prenta B1.25, v2.0 printer (currently printing and testing). I'm using 1:01 scale for ABS:3. Note that v1.8 files are still downloadable. Use 1:01 scale for ABS:3. Important changes include: * Orientation of the hotend * Modded carriage to fit quieter 40mm fans * Modded lower parts * Both parts now have small inner "pockets" to screw into Future updates will include: * Pending need to test v2.0 carriage more thoroughly * I'll upload a holder for the 40 mm fan at some point * Currently testing with a 40 mm fan held in place by tight fit and friction only Old information: * Has 56 mm rod spacing Sincerely - Jere Print Settings: Printer: Prenta B1.25 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: First layer height 0.20, others 0.25 Infill: 40% Notes: I used 6 vertical perimeters at Slic3r. Also, 6 solid layers were used at top and lower horizontal shells. Infill pattern is rectilinear. Top bottom infill is rectilinear. How I Designed This Made in SketchUp
