With an accurately sliced file printed on a precise machine, the bearing should come out free or with minimal effort. Apply some lubricant to the moving parts and you're ready to go. It may not spin as well as a spinner with metal bearings, but it still works wonderfully and is super fun to play with! Tip: After freeing the bearing, apply silicone spray or other light lubricant into the grooves between the main body and the bearing on both sides of the spinner. Silicone makes surfaces move smoothly against each other! Warning: To achieve the best results with this design, you need a good slicing app and an accurate / precise machine due to fine clearances. While most machines should work okay, some might experience issues and fuse parts together. If that happens, scale up the design by 5% uniformly to increase the internal clearances. This model is relatively easy to print but requires a bit of precision from your slicing app and machine. Applying lubricant will help get the spinner spinning smoothly and freely – and you can spin it with one hand (metal bearings also require lubrication, so no difference there).
