Predicting the Future With Zhua Zhou!

My great granddaughter is turning one year old, and we wanted to make her birthday party truly special. Our close Asian friend suggested Zhua Zhou, a unique celebration that originated centuries ago in China. It's a mix of the words for "pick" and "first anniversary," representing a "birthday grab." Similar to Korean doljanchi and Vietnamese thôn nôi, it involves laying out safe symbolic objects in front of the baby to reach for, indicating potential future careers. The item chosen might also suggest future personality types. We decided to create a set of icon-based coins instead of objects, keeping safety in mind for one-year-olds.
