Predator Mask Laser Diode mount
thingiverse
I recently completed a rapid build of the "Laser Targeting Lights" design on Thingiverse, specifically thing 2947059, for a client who required functional targeting lights. To meet this need, I created an insert that integrates three laser pointers, a latching switch, and a lithium polymer (lipo) battery. The design features three 6mm low-power laser diodes secured in the right eyebrow mount point. A latching switch is attached to the back of the socket using adhesive, while the battery is held in place by velcro in the node area. During installation, a small amount of hot glue is applied behind the holder to securely position the lasers in a neat triangular arrangement. Additionally, you can adjust the exit angle of the unit within the socket to your preference by applying a drop of hot glue, which will set as it cools. I would like to extend my respect and credit to okimoki for their original mask design, available on Thingiverse at thing 2852855.
