Predator BerdAir Pump Mount
thingiverse
Update 20 Aug 2019: Added source Fusion 360 file A mount kit to fit a standard "Berd-Air" style air pump into the Anycubic Predator electronics enclosure has been designed and created. The mount is in two parts, a bracket that securely fastens to the frame which can be printed in any material with ease, and two dampener rings that sit snugly between the motor and the brackets. These dampener rings were printed using cheap TPU with a 0.4mm nozzle for optimal results. The end cap is provided to cover the exposed motor terminals and electronics due to the excessive heat produced by the inrush current limiter, printing this in ABS is highly recommended. Secure the mount to the frame with four M4x10 cap head screws and M4 t-nuts for a sturdy hold. The clamp closes and tightens using an M3x12 cap head screw and nyloc nut for added security. **Important Note:** Be extremely cautious when wiring a BerdAir style pump into your electronics as excessive current can be pulled at startup, up to 3 amps in my case. I have taken precautions by using a TDK B57153S330M 1.3A Inrush Current Limiter to safeguard the fan MOSFET on my Duet Wifi. My Duet settings for the pump are as follows: M106 P0 S0 I0 F25000 H-1 L0.35 B2.5
