Predator Action Pliers Mk2

I've taken the original design of the Predator Action Pliers grab-toy model and made some significant improvements to address the two major complaints people had with the first model: a weak grip and overall structural weakness.\n\nTo strengthen the grip, I followed Ozcymm's approach but instead moved the piston back one tooth. This created a new gap at the front-end of the piston that allowed me to add additional teeth for an even better grasp on objects.\n\nTo boost the top support frame's strength, I added a horizontal triangular beam and two hemispheres over the cores of the small gears. Initially, I was concerned about how to integrate the beam with the complex shape of the support frame without compromising its underside (so it wouldn't interfere with moving parts), but in the end, the Boundary Fill tool made it easy with just a few clicks.\n\nThe stronger frame also results in less flexing, which further enhances the grip. It can now securely grasp small objects, such as the Jeep's roll bar shown in one of the photos.\n\nI printed two versions using "silver" and "gold" PLA filaments. The silvery one resembles brushed metal and looks really neat. The golden one is super shiny; it was challenging to capture good photos with my limited equipment!\n\nThanks for the feedback, everyone! I hope you enjoy this upgraded version.
